Olympiakos Piraeus is the biggest Greek sports club, with European titles (championships and cups) won in basketball, volleyball, water polo and athletics and a Balkan Cup won in football against famous teams. Olympiakos have won a total of 397 officially acknowledged titles in both national and international competitions. It was founded in 1925 at the city of Piraeus,where it still plays. With an astounding 36 national championships in football, no Greek team even comes close to being as successful as Olympiakos.
